- Develop and implement the overall store strategy

- Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures

- Monitor day-to-day store operations

- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards

- Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits

- Propose innovative ideas to increase market share

- Set up key store KPls

- Prepare and present reports on KPls

- Be responsible for coaching the store staff to meet the KPls

- Prepare annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions

- Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable

- Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control

- Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales

- Analyze and interpret trends to facilitate planning

- Create reports and presentations for upper management

- Provide assistance and advice to upper management in decision making

- Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; monitoring, appraising job results and building career paths.

- Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances ... )

- Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance

- Additional Store Manager duties as needed

Yêu cầu công việc

- BA in business administration, retail management or related field

- Min 3 years of experience as a Store Manager or similar role

- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

- Excellent leadership, organizational and customer service skills

- Good English communication and interpersonal skills

- Willing to work flexible hours

Participating employers can recruit local fresh talent, within three years of graduation or the Operationally Ready Date for National Servicemen and prepare them to take up suitable job roles. Participants in the programme can look forward to a structured career progression pathway within the organisation.

This programme is designed in collaboration with industry to ensure relevance to employers and the growth of the sector. Since 2015, the SkillsFuture Earn and Learn Programme has been introduced in 25 sectors, including Aerospace, Biomedical Sciences, Food Services, Games Development, Healthcare, Hotel, Infocomm Technology and Retail.

Within three years of graduation or Operationally Ready Date for National Servicemen

For fresh graduates who are Singapore Citizens and within 36 months of graduation or Operationally Ready Date for National Servicemen only
